in Norwegian Dances at local Sons of Norway lodges.

Meetings
Our rehearsals are open to observers. Dancers and musicians wishing to
participate in our group are welcome to contact one of the directors to find out
about the
rehearsal series or class appropriate to your level of experience.
- Leikarring: 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th Wednesdays 7:30-9:30: Dance class &
performance rehearsals, usually including live music. Beginners nights
are the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays, and some of the time is dedicated to the
beginners, and to basic skills. Rehearsals are at the Mountain View
Masonic Hall, located at the Corner of Church & Franklin Streets -

Leikarring: 5th Wednesday 7:30-9:30:
rehearsal or dance party (same location).
- Spelemannslag: 1st Sunday: 3-5pm: Spelemannslag performance group rehearsals.
Location: 125 North Mary Ave, Sunnyvale, CA 94086.
- Barneleikarring: 2nd Sundays, 1:30-3:30pm. Rehearsals at Nordahl
Hall, 580 West Parr Ave., Los Gatos

The Nordahl Grieg Leikarring og Spelemannslag
(NGL&S) is a non-profit group incorporated through the Northern
California Spelmanslag.
NGL&S is dedicated to furthering public appreciation of Norwegian
music and dance traditions and comprises three distinct
performing entities:
- Leikarring - Norwegian dance
group (established in 1984)

Spelemannslag
- Norwegian music ensemble (established in 1992)
- Barneleikarring -
Children's group, performing Norwegian dances (established in 1996)
